Vacation Contrib.
« on: January 02, 2014, 01:38:40 PM »
Does anyone use this with SME8 ?
Reason I ask is that I have installed it, and created a user to test, enabled the vacation for that user, and I get nothing, not reply, nothing. Is there anyway to test this?
I have looked at Dungog and not really seen anything apart from parameters, which I have not changed from default. The list message for user from command line also shows nothing being forward.

Paul.
Infamy, Infamy, they all have it in for me!

I have this version installed, smeserver-vacation-1.0-36.el4.sme.  I just tested it, and it works for me.  I logged into server-manager, user-vacations, chose a user to modify, then enabled vacation messages, save.  Then sent email to user, and got the vacation message response.

i have tested with the version installed on a fresh sme 8, it works as expected after you perform

signal-event post-upgrade; signal-event reboot

see the version i have installed

# rpm -qa smeserver-vacation
smeserver-vacation-1.0-41.el5.sme

Do you have allowed the vacation message in the server-manager for each user ?

you may try to reconfigure the rpm see http://wiki.contribs.org/Vacation#Configuration
