smolt is a dead project and no longer workable for centos6, indeed it will nice to have something like that.This should be a bug raised

see the discussion info. Shad has not given more details yet, but i think that every SME Server Ping the Contribs cluster every month.Probably the external ip is used to make the map and it seems that you need almost 10 SME to get a flag on the Map.So if you have several SME on the same external ip, maybe it could explain why you can't see your servers.
well i'm not really convinced, you are probably right but i believe that smolt is no longer active at contribs. Only shad can answer.
