I suggest getting smolt (or similar) functioning again to collect counts of each server installed.

smolt is a dead project and no longer workable for centos6, indeed it will nice to have something like that.
This should be a bug raised

Is there a central log somewhere when there's software or clamav updates? If so can a map be generated from that?

census is the next fedora project but there is not too much documentation on it.
