Hi,

Hoping somebody could point me to what I have done wrong.

Installed SME Server and its working fine, no issues at all, and I just love it.

However, when I got the https://smename/server-manager  Instead of the SME login box, I keep getting the login box for the router (netgear DGN2200)

If I access the server-manager through IP address its fine.

Anyone tell me where I am going wrong and how to correct it please.

are you trying from lan or wan?

who's the dns server for your lan? and the dhcp one?

Hi Stefano,

Thanks for responding so quick.   I THINK I may have resolved the issue by doing a DNS flush.   The network I am currently on uses the same IP range as one I had been working on yesterday, and I think it just confused the hell out of my laptop

Just done a test and it seems to be going in as it should be now

This is a usual trouble, sometimes the client could not get the new ip from the dhcp server when you move to the new lan.
