v.90/ISDN USR Modem

Anyone have any experience with USR's v.90/ISDN Courier modem and e-smith?

Does this modem use a built-in SPID file, such as an an ISDN router (that one can telnet to?)

I understand that in most cases when using ISDN, e-smith should be set up as  "Dedicated Access" , are there instances where "Dial-up" is the option to use?

Any help appreciated.

I don't know what a "SPID file" is, but the two types of ISDN TA which e-smith is known to work with are those which have an ethernet connection, and emulate a router, with which you use a "Dedicated Access" configuration, and those which have a serial port connection, and emulate a modem, in which case "Dial-up" configuration should be used. I would guess that the USR modem would fit the latter category. You may need to make some changes to the chat script to get it to work.
