Hi Martin,

You might want to take a look at http://www.e-smith.org/docs/howto/contrib/postnuke-0.7-howto.html

I suspect it'll work on 5.5 without any problems.

Following the listed HowTo I was able to get PostNuke .714 to work just fine under SME 5.5

Hi!

I've tried to install the Postnuke 7 (and the current release) in an ibay called
postnuke. All goes fine but the New installation in Webbrowser mode.

The error message is:   No DB Made.Unable to make nuke_autonews

The settings are:
DB Host localhost
DB User Name nuke
DB Password (xxxxxxxxxxx)
DB Name Rogue
Table Prefix nuke
DB Type mysql

What have I done wrong?

Best regards, Paul

You should check that you follow all the howto at http://www.e-smith.org/docs/howto/contrib/postnuke-0.7-howto.html exactly specially the part where it says "make sure you do not check the checkbox to make the database".

It looks like you've checked the checkbox to make the dbase.....?
