Hi everyone,
well i know .. i have an external DNS record for a certain Domain on one of servers and i told the server so.
This works well for the world, only the Mails generated from the Website herself via PHP AND the Mails from clients with their domain on the same Server do not arrive!?

for example:
1. i have a Server (86.59.32.59) with the Main Domain www.oeziv.org
2. the Mailservice for this Domain is handled completely external (by outlook365)
3. i gave the Server the order that DNS for this Main-Domain is handled external via Interent
4. on the same Server there are other domains like i.e.: www.oeziv-tirol.at where the Server 86.59.32.59 does handle the Mails
5. this Users want to communicate via Mail to the main Domain oeziv.org.

BUT there emails disappear!? All of them!
What am i missing out on here?
Any suggestions?

How can i tell the Server to not handle internal mails to the Main domain?
thanks!
Rudi

Exactly how did you do this ?
What command did you issue (if so) ?
Please search before asking, an answer may already exist.

Hi Janet!
I clicked the domain panel inside the server-manager
than i clicked "Edit Domain" in german (Ändern)
and there i set the DNS Settings to "Internet DNS-Auflösung"
Clicked Save and that was it ..

While the description always says 'internal mail server', you can actually set your "internal" mail server to be a remote IP or DNS name.
