Topic: sending email still send to email control although it deleted from mail delivery

Hi guys i have email ID control@altawi.com.sa this is email have copy from any email sending
it must send to it from email delivery to control to user's working.
after this we check for email control it have big email's so that we remove from mail delivery to all users then remove email name control from server
after this some users when they send email
it come copy in junk email notice failure why although we remove it from server sme and remove from mail delivery
this is message show to me in outlook when send

Why this message still send to control email although it removed from mail delivery to all useres
in sme mail server and also deleted from server

The "Recipeint unknown" error message sais it all.. the mail address does not exist and the feature 'reject mail to unknown users' is in effect.

Check all your settings again, e.g. user acounts and aliases, domain names.

Can you send email FROM you 'control' account or any other user account?


Is the domain altawi.com.sa a domain on your SME Server?

You probably still have Bcc enabled with a delivery to this "control" account, so as he doesn't exist anymore now, every SMTP transaction generates the failure notice. Please show

If there are no user accounts, all email to the doamin will get refused.

First we need to understand clearly how you configured your SME server, what you have done and what you want to achieve.

Ok, it's not the Bcc plugin. Can you tell us how did you enabled a copy to this control account, and how did you remove this copy ?

Inside sme server program we go to user - modify-forwarding address then remove that email
from users i selected and have forward
then delete this email from users list

Note the original sender sohrab has Cc'd the message to control, looks like this is done in Outlook 12 email client, so that is the source.
As the control user is now deleted, then sme server (mailer-daemon) will advise the original sender sohrab that the recipient control does not exist.
This is normal & correct behaviour.

Jonson, if your users stop sending (Cc'ing) messages to control, then they will stop receiving undeliverable advices.

The behaviour looks normal & correct to me.
This is user error.

why it send to control account this is my question
and why this message show every time i send although no cc send
if you send to one user different to control
it also send to it
although this account control deleted from mail forward to these user's then deleted from user's list in sme meaning not exist this user now

Please read the answers given, they explain why a undeliverable message is sent, when a message is sent to a non existing user, it is normal system behaviour.
Try sending a message to another non existing user.

Re if the original message is not Cc'd, then to find out why post here a complete undeliverable message, it should identify the sender/source.
A real example, not just a repeat of what you posted before
