Hi All, lately we've been receiving spam email from non-existing users of our domain to our inboxes. is there anything that can be done to curb this?

I am seeing this also. Make sure your users do not click on the attachments, & make sure you have a good & active virus scanner monitoring your workstations.
We mortals have to wait until the RBL lists & Spamassassin can manage this type of rubbish.

HI Janet and thanks for the reply. I was reading on a exchange forum (much to my horror), that someone had blacklisted his own domain and that it worked. I have blacklisted *@mydomain.com as a test and haven't received anything coming from unknown@mydomain.com. Internal and external emails are working though..
Maybe some sort of workaround??

Ummm what happens when other servers use that blacklist, they will reject messages from your server/domain ???

Hi Janet,
Each server/domain will blacklist itself..so far everything is working OK and haven't received any offending emails..
In the exchange forum they explained that anything originating from the outside world with a non existent user of my domain, will be rejected...
