Hi

Changed innodb_buffer_pool_size = 3000M ==> innodb_buffer_pool_size = 1000M
run service mysqld restart
and was able to run the fix privileges part.
But still with problems in zabbix part.

Change it to 4G ou 512M do not change error  message:

Code: [Select]
140520  7:51:04  InnoDB: Error: cannot allocate 3145744384 bytes of
InnoDB: memory with malloc! Total allocated memory
InnoDB: by InnoDB 287552336 bytes. Operating system errno: 12

Can someone help me find out why this error happens ?

I don't know, but if I was in your shoes, the first attempt will be searching

"InnoDB: Error: cannot allocate  bytes of memory with malloc! Total allocated memory by InnoDB bytes. Operating system errno: 12"

with google

Maybe even with the "I'm feeling lucky" option.

But which disk did it boot from/is it working from? Sometimes people don't notice when RAID1 is broken, and they don't discover the problem until the second drive dies, and they end up booting from a very out of date system on the first drive.

Charlie,
You must have a cristall ball.
I didn't think about this even after read your e-mail... no that's never could happen... my FIRST disk was the problem... moved away.
Now I went to update /etc/motd.jm (my own motd file where I register ANY updates on server) about changes on memallloc and discovered it was last altered in Feb 22!! SHIT!
It's time to try to reconnect other HDD and start with it only.
That's a good reason to zabbix updates do not work... they already had been applied!
I'll keep you updated. This is a home server ... very small changes over months... but I'd prefer to have my 10 months data on Zabbix!

Jader, do you read root's/admin's emails?
Everything you need to know is there..

I know I should... but really do not read most of them.
I remember to see my RAID1 was broken... so when my HDD failed I assumed was the not sync one. Bad idea.
I'll try to mount failed drive using USB and copy some data. Nothing really important... but a chance to improve my admin skills.
