Topic: Nobody can send emails after the last yum updates

Hi,

After the last updates for sme 9.1 my users can receive emails but can´t send. Is really strange. Could somebody give me a hand on this?

Please provide more information - what error messages do your users receive? Also check your log-files /var/log/qmail/current and /var/log/qpsmtpd/current .

Well I did a yum update to 9.1 & mail works fine, so I doubt that you have a sme server specific bug.

Please login to webmail on your server & try sending mail.
Advise us the outcome.

Do you get specific error messages, please quote them to us.
Also you could look in the log files for clues.

Go to your server manager admin page and click on "view logs" then from the drop down list have a look at qmail, qpsmtpd and sqpsmtpd logs and show us the output at the time of sending the email message from the client.

You can, by reporting all your problems in detail via the bug tracker. Updates shouldn't break the ability to send emails.
