Topic: Mail Server behind FritzBox -- Portforwarding 993

Hi,

I am using SME Server for some years in a Gateway config (actual V8.2). Now I had DSL Performance issues and it looked like it was coming from the DSL Modem.
So I exchanged the Modem with a FritzBox 7360 Router and put my Server in a Server-Only Mode connected to the local network only. He is  used as DHCP Server and Domain Controller.

Because I still  like to use him as my EMail Server I setup Portforwarding for ports 993 and 465 on the FritzBox.
When I am doing a Portscan on my external IP Address, I can see port 465 open and port 993 closed. Since I had the same issue with another router in a test before (VF EasyBox) I am wondering if I have to look for the problem at the server.

Any idea welcome.

Problem is solved,
local Firewall config filtered imaps access to private.
Change to public and it is working now
