Topic: What are advantages of 5.5 over 5.12 as a file server?

What are advantages of 5.5 over 5.12 as a file server?  All I'm using this one box for is a simple file server and domain controller.  I am not using mail or anything else.  I'm having all sorts of issues with 5.5 so I'm wondering if I should go back to 5.12?

Perhaps you can be more specific what the issues are that you have experienced in 5.5 so that they can perhaps be resolved by the forum members or identified for the benefit of other forum members also considering a migration to 5.5.

I am a big fan of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it.".  If 5.1.2 or 4 is working for you, why upgrade?  Make sure you get the relevant security fixes and such, but thats about it.  Thats just my opinion though.
