Safe Procedure

Hello everybody,

Thanks for all your replies
I wonder if someone can give the exact procedure if SME break down.
I mean, I've got two win98 linked on my SME with roaming.
All the precious stuff is filed on the server .
If the server stops or breaks down, computers are unable to  recognize each other on a network peer to peer.
To avoid problems, I would like to backup files regularly.
I thought to MSBackup but , unable to backup only new or modified files with it!
I 've got a ZIP drive on one of a comp. , and a CD R/W  on my SME 4.11.

Newb.

Use the Server Manager's "Backup to desktop" option. This will backup all of your stuff to a single file, which you can save anywhere, like on a Zip disk or CD-R. If your SME dies, just get a new hard drive (or whatever), install SME, and restore from that file.

Just noticed your version. You'll probably want to update (I'm at 5.0 right now), and I'm not sure if 4.11 even has these options...
