I am sorry that I am such a pain. I just starting using linux. I had all of the data files on the esmith ibays. Of course then the drive decided one day not to boot. I was wrong before. There is according to linux no partitions on the second drive. I don't know if I should just give up and chalk this up to no experience or try to add a partition. I have not had any luck with this either. I would suppose if I did do this it would destroy any data that I had left on the drive anyway?? Thanks for the help and sorry for the inconvenience.
