Topic: Cannot add new users to groups since upgrade

We have recently upgraded to SME server 5.5.  When  creating new users I cannot put them in any groups. After putting in the user's details and ticking the appropriate groups I click the save button. After a few seconds all the ticks are removed from the groups and the create goes through and returns a successfull message. Of course, the only problem is that the user isn't in any groups except their own group and shared.

I would like to know if

a)  this is a known problem
b)  anyone else is having similar problems

I experienced a similar problem after upgrading from 4.1.2 to 5.5
Cannot add groups anymore, they appear to be added but are not there when reselect groups in server manager
It was suggested to me that this could be a bug and I have reported it to "bugs"
No answer as yet though

I've had a similar issue. I can add a user to a group, and when I look again they show as belonging to the group, but they do not appear to have the appropriate permissions. That is, though userA is a member of GroupA, he cannot access an I-Bay that for which access is restricted to GroupA.

FYI I run a supported version of the SME 5.5. and Mitel is looking into it.

Had the same problem. I found that if you remove the group and readd the group that has fixed it for me.
