FTP Access to Folder in OPT

guys please can you help

i need to have ftp access to a folder in /opt/myapp/subfolder/workfolder/

i have been looking at the following:
SharedFolders - https://wiki.contribs.org/SharedFolders
PHPWebFTP - https://wiki.contribs.org/PhpWebFtp

what would you recommend i use to get ftp access to the " workfolder " ?

Why /opt/whatever?

There is no real reason to use /opt

I believe years ago it was considered more secure but I don't think that is the case now (have a good read in the forums on the subject). Just use an ibay.

There are then various ways to acess files eg Shared Folders, Pydio etc etc. Ftp is not the most secure method.....
