Pop3 on local network
« on: November 13, 2018, 12:25:11 AM »
hi,
I updated my server running on version 9.2. After update completed I can not access pop3 on local LAN. Before update everything was normal.
My email settings:

POP3 server access   Allow private and public (secure POP3S)
IMAP server access   Allow private and public (secure IMAPS)

Please help me!

thanks a lot.

Fumbles in the dark only...

Firstly what are results of

# rpm -qa e-smith-pop3
# rpm -qa djbdns

# config show pop3
# config show pop3s

Have you performed a reconfigure and reboot?

I'm using Ms Outlook 2007 on windows 7 pro x86.
The webmail, pop3s, smtp are working normally. Only pop3 can not access from local network. The problem occurred after yesterday's update.

Thank you.

That info would have been useful initially..

Have you checked the logs?

i dont see any errors, warnings in my log.
The Users can send and receive mail using the imap protocol at internal but pop3 can not.
When change setting in ms outlook client  from pop3 port to pop3s port use SSL works fine.
Please show me how to fix this error.

tks.
