I am under sme 9.2 with virus detection disabled and no plugins.

regularly I have a timeout under thunderbird when I send an email (even without attachments)

the line "spooling message to disk" does not appear? then timeout.

Usually the sending of mail works, but sometimes it does not pass "timeout", if I send it back generally it passes.

Connection Timed Out

Check your connections at each end. It's timing out after 120 seconds/2 mins?

Big attachments?

Maximum number of connections setting?

Wifi?

I'm struggling with a Lenovo laptop & systemd that has a mind of its own and suddenly decides to randomly disconnect for no good reason whatsoever

Try running a ping at the same time as the connect.
