Topic: trouble connecting a vpn 4.1.2

Hello,  I´m a user of the excellent e-smith server 4.1.2, and im very happy with this soft, but y have a problem:
I can´t establish a connection by vpn client, when I try, the host can´t connect, in the screen of e-smith server´s console shows the next:  "no free connection slots or IPs available - no more clients can connect! " , Previusly I enable the option for one, two and three same connection of pptp, and nothing. Then I went to e-smith´s home page, I search, and find the next:
 
Why can't I establish a VPN connection to my office network using my VPN access client (such as the Nortel Extranet Access Client)?
Ipsec masquerading is not enabled by default. To enable ipsec masquerading, run the following commands in a root shell:

  /sbin/e-smith/config setprop masq ipsec yes
  /sbin/e-smith/signal-event remoteaccess-update

 
I make those scripts, and try again, and again... nothing the same error,
can somebody help me?

Hernan,

the fix you mentioned is for connecting from a client behind your e-smith server to an external IPSec VPN server.

It sounds like you wish to connect to your e-smith server via VPN. Are you trying to connect using PPTP (eg. from Windows. This is what you have allowed from the Server-Manager panel) or another type of VPN (eg. IPSec - like Nortel's Extranet client)?

The message indicates that there are no spare IPs available. e-smith allocates IPs from 255 (or somewhere around there) down for PPTP connections. Have you either statically or dynamically allocated these elsewhere within your network?

Yes, Trevor, i´m trying to connect to my network via pptp from other place by a client with  w98se by the virtual private network (I use the fix dun 1.4 from microsoft), I have a dynamic ip (in the other point the e-smith server) ´cause  I get an acount by dyndns.org and i fix that problem, but I still can´t get a connection,
 I have to configure something more in the console?
 some ip in the connection (cause in my network i have internal fixed ip for all of my host)?
