also to fix part of your issue you could do, before :

@monoman those are likely two different situations.

On yours you had a 404, then a 403 error, which were one kind of error against httpd, and I am still waiting for you to show the logs so I can find a way to reproduce this step.

that is probably your better bet, I would bet that one attempt to update failed for whatever reason and only partial db was converted.

you could try to remove the nextcloud.oc_authorized_groups table and f it fails to upgrade with occ upgrade simply restore your db and give another try.

Problem solved.

1.  I restored the db backup I made when migrating to mariadb after the the nextcloud contrib upgrade and I renamed
