Using a 'Complete' Horde

I was pleased to find out that SME uses Horde as it's webmail interface. I've been using this on my existing RedHat box that I was using for my websites (or actually still am until I get everything moved over to SME) - anyway - Is it possible to go ahead and install the NEWEST version of Horde (including kronolith, mnemo and the other addons)? Even if I have to do it from scratch like I had to for the box I'm using now or is the Horde that comes with SME a 'Specialized' version?

Thanks!

Are you talking about the latest release of Horde (2.1)?  Yes, it's quite possible to install that, and I've built RPMs to do that (for horde 2.1 and IMP 3.1).  The rest you'd need to get elsewhere.  AFAIK (and I'm pretty sure about this), it's a pretty standard horde installation.

Those are the versions I was talking about :)

I'll give it a shot over the weekend. I need to have the extras too so I'll just try installing it like I did for the RedHat box. :)

Thanks!

I'm running :
Horde 2.1
Imp 3.1
Turba
from the Dan Brown rpms(thanks Dan)

Then added:
Kronolith
Nag
Mnemo
Vacation
following the instructions that come with each(except vacation--it took some modification to work with qmail)

Hi Dan,

>from the Dan Brown rpms(thanks Dan)

Could you perhaps reveal the location of those?? I browsed around your website but only found a HOWTO upgrade IMP to 3.0...

Cheers,
Thomas

I just went ahead and used the tar files since that's what I had learned how to install on the regular RedHat box :)

Everything's working like a charm now - Thanks! :)

Where are the settings to change the way a user is logged in so that they start out at the horde main screen instead of straight into imp?

Thanks,
Jeff
