Topic: Unable to access web site

Hi, not sure if this situation has been caused by my e-smith box but maybe... for some unknown reason I am unable to get onto http://www.google.com from any of my computers on my home network?

I have not changed anything on e-smith 4.x and I can access other web sites no problem. I'm unable ping google or get any kind of response.

I have tried accessing it from windows machines and a SuSE box running konqorer and I get the same thing. It looks like it might be a DNS issue but not sure?

Any advise?

Hey Tez, I am also having a similar problem but not with google.  I am having problems accessing www.neomin.org.  An ISP provider for NorthEaster Ohio schools.   I can access their website if I type in their IP address but not the actual url.  I cannot find anything to alleviate this little annoying problem.  Any leads on your google problem?  We might have similar problems and / or solutions.
