Hi Everyone,
I was just wondering if I could ask for a bit of help with a problem - we are doing an upgrade currently.
we had an old SME 9.2 server that we updating, we plugged in a 8TB drive formatted clean and ran a backup from the admin menu on the terminal, the backup succeeded after about 12 hours, a total of around 1.4TB in around 2,500,000 files.
we then proceeded to install SME 10.1 fresh on 2x new 6TB HDD in RAID1 - CMR type hard drives - SME installed the files and did the usual request for reboot before the first configuration screen started up.
At that point we put it in the 8TB drive and rebooted. SME promptly asked - if we would like to restore and we selected yes. all was working great and the restore was progressing fast, up till in hit 32% and then it has stayed stuck at that percentage for over 4.5hrs.
Normally I could press ALT-F2 and login and check if the restore is still processing. but in this case we never hit the point where we created a password - so the screen says localhost, but we have no login codes for root.
Would anyone happen to know if there is a default password for the system during it's initial configure? as I suspect the restore is still working as the hard drives lights are full on but the percentage isn't moving and a quick check may make it easier to tell where to go from here.
Any advice would be appreciated and thank you in advance
