Topic: IMAP and Pegasus Mail?

Hi folks, has anyone out there brought PM and the e-smith IMAP together?

If yes, how are the proper settings? I tried every reasonable thing.

Dam Outlook does ist without problems, but not PM.

Hi Alex,
same problems. It seems that PM will not work with IMAP.
Maybe you should try Eudoramail. It works fine without any problems.

Also fine is Mozilla Mail. It's only a little 'big' for only emails

I allways used to use Pegasus with Novell, never tried it with SME, but I was able to do it work with IMAP accounts on Mercury 32.

What´s happening to you?

I still have copies of Pegasus and could intall it to help you.
Please be more specific about your problem!

Hi again,

Pegasus does not work with SME 5.5 at all. Gives Imap-Error in every Configuration on Client Side. I found no one here or out in the net who got it working.

OutlookExpress is just OK with SME Imap - but who needs outlook?

Finally I have some time to test Pmail 4.02 with SME 5.12 (my!)
I have tryed it with SME512 and couldn´t get it to work either!
I think it´s a problem with Maildir. What had you already tested as maildir location?
I tryed:
~jader/Maildir
~jader/Mail
/home/e-smith/files/users/jader/Maildir
/home/e-smith/files/users/jader/Mail
/Maildir
/Mail
 But no luck at all! And i don´t know where to find a log saying what´s wrong with IMAP4 communication... Do you know?
