Topic: What services can I turn off?

First off let me tell you how much I love this software. We are using it for a webfilter with SquidGuard and it runs like a champ.

Now, my question. I recently installed the service manager available from myezserver.com and it works great. Since I want the machine to be as secure as possible, I want to turn off any unnecessary services. Its only job is being a proxy/filter.

Can I turn off all of the services in the services admin panel (samba, PHP, ldap etc), except for squid, without it messing with the proxy/filtering capabilities?
