Topic: E-Mail from External net

i hope someone can help me with this

i have the e-smith 5.5 set up as server and gateway.

my brother have a mail account at my server and he is located at ip 212.247.*.*

he can get hes mail from my server via outlook but he can't send mail...

so i tried to set up hes ip under local networks    212.247.*.* subnet 255.255.255.255 router 192.168.0.1   it won't accept my external ip as router !

as a result of this he cant even see my domain or ping my server !


what is wrong ?¿
