Hi,
I am using e-smith in France and I have to install e-smith (server and gateway) for a company in Spain with a ADSL line called "ADSL sobre RDSI" by Telefonica  and a router Nokia M1112.
Telefonica give me a static IP address and a netmask.
I think I have to open ports on the router (I need to use ssh to connect to the local network from France).
I need to know how to configure the router and the external interface of e-smith.

Hi Philippe.

If only you need connect to SME server for admin issues you can open the 443 port in the router (are many pages in internet with information about Nokia router I think). And add your IP to the remote access panel in SME Server.

But if you want access to local network data I think that best idea is config a VPN.
