Topic: e-mail down after blade uninstall

Hi, wonder if anyone can help.

Server 5.1.2 was all running fine this morning using fetchmail for multiple accounts, e-mail recevied internally and externally everything just fine !

For some reason I decided to uninstall the mp3jukebox and the afterwards the ibay where the files were stored.

Since then I can no longer send or receive e-mail ???  

Having checked the logs the sendmail logs comes up with the 'oh no spawning error' and I also receive a message after ever mail check to the admin account saying : 'procmail : insuffecient priviedges'.

Any ideas best way forward ???

Have tried restarting the server and resetting all settings for server and mail etc and am currently in process of running through the 5.1.2 CD update to see if that sorts.


Help greatly appreciated.

"multi-account fetchmail" and "procmail" are both non-standard features. Your problem is very likely related to those add-on packages.

think now is all okay, for some reason virus program not running ???



after redoing update seemed to sort out some problems bu then came up with, within admin e-mail :

sh: -d: command not found

manually started avmgate now seems okay, hopefully !!  


service avmgate restart

how do i get avmgate to run on boot ??  sorry for the newbie question
