Topic: Ihug Ultra any body using it?

Any body using the formentioned I can get mine to work good
 
the only probs are

1) need to change ppp user name from  logon to logon@ihug.co.nz

2) For NZ *52 before my isp's dial up number disables call Waiting but using the configuation consol to change the former prob takes out my little hack to /etc/ppp

I have tryed to make a modification to a /etc/e-smith/customtemplats but it just wont stick

I am using iHug Ultra here in Western Australia. I am using a Skymedia SM200DP Satellite and a standard external modem for my outbound link which is on a permanent connection. I have also setup another 7 for other customers in the same manner without any problems.

I am not sure what you are trying to acheive. If you want to change the username that your ppp dialup connection uses all you need to do is run through the server console configurator.

Yes I was doing it that way but I found out If I changed the data in two files and restarted diald It would swap from Ultra to Dialup wich should save me some Money the next thing is to set it up in a Script  Will do some more Playing Arround  Most people Cant even see what I am doing with my BOX .....
