Topic: ifup and script templates

Hi All

I am wanting to modify the ifup and the rc.local scripts but I want to have them templated so that future updates do not overwrite the changes. Normally I would copy and modify a script fragment from the templates directory, but these scripts do not have a template in the e-smith/templates directory structure.

How do I set this up ?
