How do u create a forwarding or auto-reply entry on the webmail interface such that users can create forwarding to other accounts or activate auto out of  office reply messages by themselves ?

You can't do much in the webmail interface but if you simply install and use the user-manager contrib you'll have everything you need:

Hi,

Does this allow one administrator for one domain or one administrator for multiple domains ?

Thanks

You can install the vacation module for imp(the webmail).  Then each user can turn on and off whatever auto-reply messages they want(doesn't have to be vacation).  There is also a forward module, but my users didn't have a need for that.  I also have the calendar, todo, memos, and bookmarks(non-editable) all working great.  I hope to see SME install the latest version of IMP(when it's out of CVS), since it adds lots of nice features: shared calendars, shared todo lists, shared memos, groups in the addressbook, improved the e-mail(compose html e-mail, forward multiple messages from the inbox screen, etc...  Check out www.horde.org

I'm not sure exactly what version yours is, but Shad Lords just released an updated version to fix a problem with vacation messages.

Ok, yours is dated Dec. 18 as well, so I'm assuming it's the new version also. What's the difference between yours and Shad's?

Mine is simply the same contrib packaged into one rpm for easy installation.  See the update-system contrib for pkg format details.  The user-manager contrib is a community contrib.  It has many helpful supporters and we all work together at various times on the same project.  Shad has done the most recent updates and coordinates in letting us know a new release exists.  I bundle into the pkg format.
