Opps, I broke something
I've setup a webpage on my e-smith box and broke my internet connection, can someone help ???
Here's what I have done, I wanted to host my own domain so I configured bind, I used the example from linuxdoc on how to do it, since I am fairly new to linux I used the same file names and directories that were used in the doc which means I had to change some names: the named.ca file is now zone/root.hints. I've also created the files for the resolution 0.0.127 and hallafamily.com and 249.**.** you get the idea and I've added them all to the named.conf file.
It works great I have a website hosted.....but now from my internal network I can't access the web using domain names only IP's
when I telnet to my server and ping using a domain name it connects, but when I'm at home on a workstation it comes up with the error cannot resolve host
