multi-drop and domain

multi-drop and domain

First part of my question:
How can I forward all mail received using multi-drop without a known account on the SME box to forward to an account other than admin?

Second: I am using the SME box to check just one of the pop3 accounts on my domain which is hosted by a standard host provider. I am doing this because I need IMAP, and want to use SPAMASSASSIN. This is working well, but I have had to set the SME's hostname to the same host name that my real site is on. This was the only way to get mail sent to "chris@mydomain.com" to distribute to the chris account on the SME box when multi-drop is used to check the "chris@mydomain.com" pop account. This is not a big deal, but I would rather not do this. Is there a better way. The server that my site is on does support ETRN, but I need to leave the other accounts alone. If there was a way to grab just mail for a couple of the pop3 accounts then I could use it for a few other, but for now, I just need this one account working. The part is to solve the mailing list issue with multi-drop, and since I am only using this for one account, I don't want the mail going to admin.

So I found multi-pop and got it up. It would solve my problem, except that as the server-manager module for it says:

"The deliver to: is experimental, it is supposed to let you redirect a pop account to a user or group, mail is downloaded but seems to disappear, * is used for normal sorting."

This does happen. It seems to be checking the mail, but not sending it to the user "chris". What gives. Multi-pop allowed me change the domain too, but unless I can route the mail from one pop account to one sme account, I am out of luck.
