I just got around to installing e-smith(2 weeks later) and it is incredible.
I can't believe I spent a two months trying to crash course Unix,
Linux, Samba, and Netatalk as a totally frustrated newbie and such a simple
solution was available for so cheap. I don't regret all the background
knowledge, I'm sure it'll come in handy, but I could have had
email/file/internet sharing up and running a long time ago! Thanks for
saving me untold sleepless nights. Installation took only a few minutes
and I configured it for our entire office in a few more. And everything
worked the first time, including email. What OS can say that?
