Webmail down

Well I tried to upgrade the imp webmail, because I need it to include option for Danish.

(5.1.2 had it, 5.5 don't)

I upgraded to 3.1, but forgot that I had to use a different approach to SME. :-(

The result now is a buggy IMP, that won't show the mails in the users maildir.
If I connect as pop3, og using IMAP, all the mails are there, but not via the webmail interface.

What can I do ?

(attempting upgrade to 5.6 as soon as it is downloaded)

This is pretty urgent for me, any help will be met with gratitude

By the way, I get this EVERY time I log on to ANY account now:

Warning! IMP is ready to perform the maintenance operations checked below.
Check the box for any operation(s) you want to perform at this time.

The current folder(s) "" will be renamed to "".
All old sent-mail folders more than months old will be deleted.
All messages in your "" folder older than days will be permanently deleted.

5.6 won't help you - it's still without danish  - you have to upgrade!
Maybe tis is what you want:

Well updated to 5.6, but now it's even more buggy :-(

How do I remove the IMP completly, to make it possible to reinstall it.

Problem is, I think somehow it has corrupted the database too :-(

If that doesn't work:

Think I'll just own the server, and start from scratch.
(taking the time to change the harddrive in it too)

Once you've upgraded to 5.6, try this:

rpm -Uvh --replacepkgs imp-3.1.whatever horde-2.1.whatever
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event email-update

Thanks a lot Dan,

You just saved my (in)sanity :-)

This did the trick, now I jus need to get IMP to understand that it is a version where the user should be able to select Danish :-)
