Topic: Plone installation issues/ if any

Hi,

I am looking for a content managment system to run on my SME 5.5 box. I previously installed Ezcontents 1.4.3. It installed fine and i was able to make some minor configs and it worked fine. I had to restart my server and after that I could not get access to the admin console, all that happened was it refreshed the screen.

I am now thinking of installing Plone but I'd like to know of any issues it may have before I begin the install. If there is anybody who can fix my Ezcontents problem I would appreciate it.

I've installed it on 5.6 with no problems. I'm now trying to get my head around its configuration....

I have downloaded the Plone win32 &  The RPM on http://bender-high.com/sme. I played around with zope and i start enjoying plone. My attention is to is installed on a sme 5.6; did you have any parlicular problems that i should avoid before installing?

And for you Brian, may be you can try http://www.opecms.org. It's base on java. It take some work for installation. But it's good .
