Topic: Possible LibC MD5 mismatch?

I just got a fail during install of SME 5.6, the last entry in the traceback file is:


Installing compat-libstdc++-6.2-2.9.0.16.
unpacking of archive failed on file /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.2.7.2.8;3e626e71: cpio: MD5 sum mismatch

However, the ISO file MD5s perfectly - is this a problem with my CD writer?

I should have course referred to libstdc++, rather than LibC
