I didn't tell him to buy it from anyone in particular. I cited PCWorld because I happen to know their prices. He can buy wherever he chooses, as I said in my second post. The point isn't where the thing is bought, it's the fact that buying a <£10 NIC any other way than brand new isn't sensible.
As for your opinion of PCWorld. I'd strongly advise you not to pass opinions that may be libellous in a forum like this. You presented no evidence, just vented personal spleen. I should also add that any purchase you complain about at PCWorld would be replaced over the counter, so your opinion actually isn't worth very much.
