Topic: Virtual host with phpGroupWare

i have phpGroupWare running with the phpWebhostin application, my problem is that when i want to go to sites hosted using phpgroupware i have to enter

www.mydomain.com/group/files/home/user

where is the vhost file or how do i set it up to just be user.mydomain.com or www.mydomain.com/user?

i've been looking around for some time and seems to me theres a template i have to edit. Is this correct? Could someone help me please?
