Topic: wont work: /sbin/e-smith/db configuration setprop squid Tra

hi,
  i rebooted my sme box this morning (03-13-03) then after the reboot, i notice that squid is not in transparent mode coz if i wont put the sme5.5's lan ip add as proxy in the my IE, i cant go to any site....

then i did these:
/sbin/e-smith/db configuration setprop squid Transparent yes
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event remoteaccess-update

here's what its said in /var/logs/message:

---> somehow it says that: "Transparent|yes"  but i cant see the transparent mode working

squid-2.4.STABLE3-1.7.2

after i posted this... Transparent mode is on again... its like truning on and off... why is this?

after ill issue a:
/sbin/e-smith/db configuration setprop squid Transparent yes
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event remoteaccess-update

---> how long will it take for the command/s to take effect
