Topic: Restore from Desktop

I was wondering if there is anyway to modify the restore from desktop so that the IP information on the destination machine remains.  I have backed up a machine that I need to restore to a different network and I would like to not have to 'reconfigure' after restore to prevent down time.

What information do you require backed-up that is not captured in the db files at /home/e-smith?
