Hi

Can you please tell me whether or not E-Smith comes with the Front Page extentions installed ?  If not is it possible to install them manually ?

Thanks
Tony

Hi Tony!

Thanks for the post.

We don't include Front Page extensions in the e-smith software.  And, unfortunately, we don't know if you can install them manually.

Perhaps someone else will post with their experiences...?

It would be cool if you got it to work. If so, please do let us know.

Regards,

Kim

Try developing in Front Page, 2000 is really the best version, and then FTPing using Cute32. I have done it and it works very nicely. However be sure that you turn off the features that require require the extensions. This can be done within Front Page by turning off the extended features.

I don't know if it is a demo or if it is free but on Microsoft's web site they have an add-on for Frontpage that allows you to publish directly from Frontpage using FTP.  It is called KISSfp and they have versions for Frontpage 97/98 and 2000.  You can find the main page at http://officeupdate.microsoft.com

Hope this helps,
Steve

Looks like you can find some support for them linked from here:

You might need to do some recompiling, though; I'm not at all familiar with this package.
