Topic: 5.6 Email In & Out not working

Hi,

Email has been up and running fine for months. However, my brother tried to use SMTP to send messages from my server from the outside on his own ISP, but he was getting the dreaded "553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts " message. So I read the forum here and tried to install Damien Curtain's email RPM's as was suggested. So I installed all the rpm's and now email is not working at all. Plus I am not sure how to configure the new "Secure Email Settings" panel.

I guess I need help configuring the panel so that I can allow my brother to use my smtp server, or uninstall all the rpms. How do I uninstall the RPM's?

Here's what is installed from pagefault.org:

I even rebooted the sysytem, but no luck.

OK, here is a lesson for us all..

Damien was kind enough to help me out with getting the RPM's uninstalled, but even after that, access was still down. I did some checking and it looks like my ISP renewed my IP address during the same time I was installing the RPM's, but my DYNDNS.ORG client did not update dyndns yet causing the no connection problems etc. I think my update client is misconfigured...

So, chalk this up to a major coincidence!
