Topic: customizing the system - help!

Hi

I'm pretty new to this server and I would like to add a couple of shares to smb.conf

I have read through the customizing the system page but I am still lost!

What are fragments?  Since I dont know this most of the help doesnt make sense.

Can someone explain in really simple terms which files I copy and edit?
