Hi,
Who can help me with the six packages of Upgrades for the e-smith server v5.0.
I can find only the upgrade 6 and that one says that at least the upgrade 4 must be installed.
So, who can help on al of the 6 upgrades for E-Smith server v5.0.

This should be update 4 for e-smith v5.0.

I have the most current ISO on my site as well as the upgrade 3 for the SME 5.6 software. Just go to https://www.technut.net and you can register as a member for free. Once you are registered you may go to the download section and get the software.

5.6 and its updates are readily available. 5.0's Update 6 requires that Update 4 be installed first to fix an upgrade-related problem. For some reason, they still have Update 6 on the FTP, but not Update 4. For that reason, I put 5.0's U4 on my contribs.org space...

Might be I give more detail.


I have SME 5.5 running and have applied update1 to update3.

I recently found out that update5 for 5.5 is available and I guess I have missed the update4.
I read from another thread about 5.6 updates saying that the latest update of 5.6 already include previous updates.  However, I am not sure whether this practice also applies for 5.5
