Thought I would just start a new thread for comment on choosing 5.5 or 5.6 for your new installs>

Any comments here . . .
How are the contribs holding up against the new version and new kernel?
Any concerns with 5.6 that need addressing?
Stuff like that I am interested in  . . .  comments from users .. . etc

my purpose for this thread was mainly to consolidate opinion about 5.6 I am about to deploy it across 30 sites so am interested in non documented experiences or as Bill did post some links to reduce the evaluation process for other users  . . .

Few additonal bits to mention . . .
Check bugs page for recently reported bugs and workaround for 5.6
http://www.e-smith.org/bugs/

Few people are reporting external access problems with MYSQL
Charlie Brady proposed a fix in :

Plus multi internal VPN nat probs - workaround reduces VPN functionality equivalent to 5.5 so shouldnt bother too many people in an upgrade path.
