these phorem boxes aren't big enough for all my problems

i made a group staff, and another students
in e-smith-manager when i assign read or write to these groups it works
when i leave it as group 'everyone' i'm refused permission ??

in my browser i have to type in the ip no of the server to view a page
is e-smith or www.e-smith.domain.com supposed to work
have i not set up the client ? does it only work online ?

Stephen, if you wouldn't mind, I'd like to move discussion
of some of your issues to the developer mailing list.

In general it's also a good idea to post your issues or comments one at a time, so that each issue is dealt with as a seperate thread. Gets pretty messy otherwise. This applies to both the BBoard, and to email.

You should be able to use www.e-smith.domain.com (whether on-line or not), and you should also be able to use just "www".

If this doesn't work for you, please raise the issue on the developer mailing list and we'll talk you through a diagnosis of the problem.
