Topic: My server won't recognize my internet connection! HELP

Ok, I got 2 3Com Nic cards in my server box, and the server recognized them, but for some reason whenever I try to test the internet connection, it always fails, even on BOTH of the cards.  I'm runing ver. 5.5, and I dont' know how to upgrade to 5.6.  If I upgrade to 5.6, will it help me and fix the problem??
