Topic: Amavis ok; antivir problem

I've SME5.5 installed. All Mail over Qmail should be check by antivir(hbedv) over amavis-ng. All Mail goes through - also Virusmails:-((. How can i test antivir over amavis from the console. antivir do nothing. the antivirlog has only one line - from the manual update.

Sorry for my engl.. I hope that somebody understand my problem.

how did you get it to install?
i have been tring for weeks and keep geting conflicts.

for Testing go to:
The site http://www.rexswain.com/eicar.html has an of explanation of the eicar virus software test. Copy the file to a directory and scan it or email it to yourself.

i hope you can give me step by step instructions on how you installed a/v on your box.

Yes! I've used this Link to install:

But the Problem is the same; Antivir(hbedv) found no viruses:-(
Now I use F-Prot for Workstations. The Version is free for private, too.
It works witout any Problems.

So i've found a workaround but i haven't resolved the Problem.
